Tonight we went on a little family adventure! We drove down to Janesville, WI (about an hour away) to see some puppies that we had been looking at online. They are absolutely adorable. The puppies are called, "Frenchtons." They are 1/2 AKC French Bulldog (dad) and 1/2 AKC Boston Terrier (mom). It's kind of funny that we came upon them because we had been looking at either French Bulldogs OR Boston Terriers. People who know me are surprised that we aren't looking at Boxers. The simple reason is that we don't feel like we have a big enough house or yard to properly care for one. Maybe next time! :)
Magnus, the little darling you see above, is the newest member of our family!!! He was born on January 14th and will come home to us mid-March. He's fairly stocky and when full grown will be about 20 pounds (probably a little more). He was completely laid back while we were there and sat in Braden's lap for a long time. We are quite smitten and can't wait to bring him home. On our drive back, Braden was talking about where he was going to sleep and what he wanted to put into Magnus' house. It was really cute. He's a big reason that we want a dog. Shouldn't every little boy grow up with a dog? We certainly think so.

I'm soooo excited for you! When can we have our first play date? Finally, I too can be involved in playdates!!! Willie and Lexa would love to show your little guy the ropes. I promise they'll be careful. Yipee. Magnus is a great name and he's absolutely adorable. I've never heard of a Frenchton- how great!
Dear Magnus- you're going to love living with the Dupee family. They are great people- we'd love to be your Boxer friends.
