Yet Again...

Braden had his adenoids out for a second time on Tuesday of this week.  We went to the surgicenter this time which happens to be fairly close to our house.  Braden was a very brave boy.  The whole event went rather quickly and seamlessly.  We got there early, the doc was running ahead of schedule and Braden acted like a pro.  He could be considered such as this does happen to be his fourth surgery poor guy.

This picture is of him before we had to put on the pretty little outfit and before the "goofy juice."  He was doing some homework for school that we brought with us.

The surgery took about 30 minutes and after the doctor told me he was surprised at how large they were considering he had already had them removed.  He also told me that we needed to keep the rest of the week low key and he could return to school on Monday.  The good news...the kids have off of school Thurs/Fri for Teachers Convention so he only missed two days.  The bad news...it's Halloween weekend and keeping it low key is going to be a feat in itself.

Wednesday he felt really good, wanted to play and didn't want pain meds.  Today is a little different.  He is tired, sore and everything about him is quiet.  I just want to take it all away for him.

We've been busying ourselves with books, puzzles, legos, movies, naps (Braden, Olivia and I all snuggled into our bed!!), and a trip to both the dollar store and the library.

Hopefully he perks up soon and that is the last of his surgeries.  Please keep him in your prayers. :)
