Olivia was a Monarch Butterfly and Norah was a Rainbow Caterpillar this year.
We went over to Kristin and Cory's house to trick or treat on Saturday night! It's an event not to be missed each year. They had 18 families over for chili and pizza before heading out. Their neighborhood designates three different streets to trick or treat on each year and one block is the "Haunted" block. The Haunted Block is decked out - it's so great. Darrell and Judy were visiting so joined us as well! We had a lot of fun people watching... many of the adult costumes are hilarious!
Norah played with a microphone at the Olson's House.
The next night we went trick or treating in our neighborhood. Braden was Captain Rex (Star Wars) and Olivia again a Monarch. Norah didn't join us this time. It was too cold and close to bedtime.
Charlotte, Evan, Andrew, Jaycee, Ridge, Rory and Annika joined us to start things off. We typically walk down three blocks on one side of the street and then turn around and come back on the other side. It takes a little less than an hour, is very low key, and really fun.
Katie joined us this year and when we got back Braden shared a few treats with her!
Tony and Steve hung out in the front yard to pass out candy and enjoy some beverages in front of the fire pit while we were gone.
It was a great Halloween!
