We started up family meetings again and established these four rules over the course of four weeks.
Sorry again for the dark pictures... still learning about my camera! They have been wonderful. I love having a plan and the kids know them by heart. I don't love the word obedience but we couldn't find another one that fit so perfectly.
Our next family meeting topic... allowance!

I think you could take out obedience and just have "doing what your parents ask" under respect. I guess in my mind respect is a synonym for obedience. Then you could have the fourth rule be manners and keep the part about saying please there. I love your four simple rules - easy, direct and everyone can remember them.
