I haven't done this in quite some time and I had planned of course on being more consistent about it. So here are the 5 things I am most thankful for at this moment in time...
1. Yoga - I am enjoying my Yoga class more than I've enjoyed any before. My body feels great afterwards, my mind is calm and I have this content feeling overall. I also love that I get to do it with Katie.
2. Mommy Books - I am reading, "I was a great mom before I had kids," right now which of course has a lot of humor in it but it really validates a lot of the feelings and emotions that run through me on a daily basis. It's nice to know that I'm at least somewhat normal. :)
3. Coffee - I don't know what it is about having a warm cup of coffee in the morning, quietly, by myself that just makes the world seem like a better place.
4. Heather, our daycare provider - I was just making up a calendar for her for the year based on days I thought she'd have Olivia, days she'd have both kids and some days where Braden will just be there 1/2 the day. It's a crazy schedule and I appreciate her flexibility more than she'll ever know.
5. Summer - I love that today when I woke up I was able to sit down with a piece of paper and rough out an agenda for the day. We have things to do that need to get done today and will go to National Night out Tonight but no one was dictating when we were here or there.
For all of those things and more ... I find grace.
