We gathered in the backyard for coffee, mimosas, and bloody mary's before the parade. Steve and Judy had put out chairs and blankets at 6am to reserve our seats. The parade lasted about and hour and a half and then we headed back to play games, listen to music and eventually make lunch. We had a great time and are so glad that everyone joined us who was able.
To celebrate Paul's birthday we went to dinner at Mo's Irish Pub. We actually celebrated Olivia's birthday too so thank you Paul for sharing your day. Dinner was GREAT. The food was excellent and it was fun to be in that type of atmosphere all together.
From dinner, we drove over to Hart Park to get a spot for the fireworks. Romant's joined us and the kids had a blast running in the hay, playing frisbee and opening Olivia's birthday presents. When the fireworks started Ava and Braden snuggled in with Nikki and Jill and Olivia sat with me. Olivia watched for about 2 minutes before covering her head with the blanket and falling asleep. How she fell asleep with all the booming and noise - I have NO idea. I guess that shows how overtired she was from the fun weekend!
It was an awesome weekend with the Dupee family. I love having everyone stay here and can't wait for the Brewer Game in September. Thanks everyone!!
