Last night we put the kids to bed together. Over the summer they've acquired about the same bedtime which is usually around 8am. We get ready, read books together in Olivia's room then tuck them each in individually. Olivia usually reads a book to herself or sings a song and then conks out. Braden takes a bit longer and will read until falling asleep.
Last night we heard some scuffling and so Steve went up to investigate. He found Braden and Olivia reading books, snuggled together in his bed. This means that he went to get her because by some miracle she doesn't leave her bed or room until we come get her in the morning or if she calls for us at night.
It was so adorable... I wanted to take a picture... but the mommy part of me stopped myself, picturing this becoming a horrible habit so we went into his room without saying a word and put them both back in their beds with lights out.
Not a peep from either of them until this morning. :)
SO cute and very loving which melts my heart but what a little stinker!!
