We've had a busy week but couldn't pass up kids night at the zoo! We met up with Sara and Ava to tour around and ended up running into a few other friends while there as well. The weather was perfect - not too hot and not too cold!
We spent a lot of time corralling Braden and Ava to make our way around. They were having more fun climbing on the railings, running and just plain being goofy than they were looking at the animals.
The best part was a special touring exhibit they have with large caged rooms full of parakeets and cockatiels. You could buy little popsicle sticks with seed on them and the birds would climb on and eat. Braden and Ava loved it, Olivia wasn't quite sure what was going on.
Once again - a wonderful evening spent with family and friends! I'm going to go in withdrawal come August although I shouldn't be thinking about that already!!
