We headed down to the circus on the lakefront last night. We were joined by the Olson's and the Tanty's. It was fun to walk around, see the circus cars, a few animals (elephants and camels) and of course rides some rides.
After standing in line for the 5:00 show, we headed in to the big top. I had these grand visions of what this circus would entail and had shared them with Braden. We entertained ourselves playing games, eating snacks and trying to keep cool while we waited. The show started and had some miraculous entertainers. The only animals were some poodles and at the end a baby elephant came out and performed. We were a little disappointed but only because I had pictured something so different.
Olivia was an angel. She watched the entire show without complaint! I was shocked and had anticipated having some troubles keeping her entertained or having to step out at some point. What a big girl she is!!
Afterwards we ate some circus fare (snow cones and popcorn), walked around a bit and then came home. It was a fun afternoon/evening!!
