Yoga


Katie and I started a yoga class last night. It's something that I did often while pregnant with Braden and loved what it did for my body. I always felt so limber and relaxed after class. I slept better and I think it helped my overall strength. The prenatal yoga at the WAC didn't fit my schedule so we found this darling studio called 'Tosa Yoga.' It's just down North Avenue and she's transformed what was probably a run down room in a small building into a great place to meditate. They don't offer prenatal yoga but she was great about helping me modify poses as needed.

We had a full class with men, women, young, old, fit and not so fit people. It was the first day and so not like a typical class will be but I still left feeling GREAT. I slept wonderful last night and had a fabulous workout this morning. I wasn't tight and had more energy than other days.

The picture is of a pose I hope to accomplish by the end of class... just kidding but it made me laugh out loud when I saw it. :)
